E-commerce Project ManagerJob Description:We are seeking a seasoned E-commerce Project Manager with hands-on experience in managing BigCommerce or Shopify projects. Candidates must have led end-to-end e-commerce implementations specifically on BigCommerce or Shopify.This role requires someone who understands the Shopify/ BigCommerce ecosystem — from setup, theme customization, and integrations to store launch and post-deployment optimization. The ideal candidate has delivered multiple BigCommerce-focused (or Shopify-focused) projects while working closely with developers, clients, and business stakeholders to create high-quality e-commerce experiences.Key Responsibilities:Project Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of BigCommerce/Shopify projects — from requirements gathering and sprint planning to deployment and post-launch optimization.Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams for all e-commerce project deliverables.Custom Storefronts: Collaborate with developers and designers to deliver custom storefronts, APIs, and integrations.Migration Projects: Oversee migration projects to BigCommerce or Shopify from platforms like Magento, WooCommerce, or custom systems.Timely Delivery: Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery aligned with scope, timelines, and budget.App Integrations: Identify and implement BigCommerce/Shopify apps and third-party integrations to enhance site functionality.Quality Assurance: Monitor QA, testing, and performance to ensure flawless store launches.Communication: Provide proactive communication to clients and stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in project processes, especially for e-commerce delivery workflows.Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 2+ years of proven experience as an E-commerce Project Manager — managing BigCommerce or Shopify projects is mandatory.BigCommerce/Shopify Knowledge: Strong understanding of BigCommerce and/or Shopify platform architecture, APIs, customizations, and integrations.Migration Experience: Experience in migration, theme customization, and store setup on BigCommerce or Shopify.Cross-Functional Teams: Familiarity with cross-functional teams working on SaaS e-commerce platforms.Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.Project Tracking Tools: Proficiency in Jira, Trello, or Asana for project tracking.Communication Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.E-commerce Operations: Good understanding of e-commerce operations — product catalog, checkout, payments, shipping, and fulfillment workflows.About Us:We are a boutique e-commerce technology and marketing consulting company catering to B2B and B2C e-commerce businesses.
