Job Title: Cloud Architecture SpecialistAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Architecture Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud-based systems using modern Java functional programming concepts.Key Responsibilities:Microservices Development: Design and implement microservices using modern Java functional programming concepts, ensuring high availability, scalability, and maintainability.Event-Driven Systems: Collaborate on event-driven systems using Kafka and apply architectural patterns like Choreography, Strangler, and Sidecar to improve system performance and reliability.Code Reviews and Knowledge-Sharing: Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure consistent coding standards and promote technical excellence within the team.Cloud Deployment: Develop and deploy applications in GCP (or any public cloud) using services like Cloud Run, GKE, GCS, etc., ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.Coding Standards: Write clean, testable, and scalable code with emphasis on readability and maintainability, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.Java Adoption: Contribute to the adoption of modern Java features, including Pattern Matching, Records, and Record Patterns, to enhance code quality and efficiency.Deployment Patterns and CI/CD Pipelines: Demonstrate a foundational understanding of deployment patterns and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments, ensuring efficient and automated deployment processes.RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have:A strong background in Java development and cloud architecture.Experience with modern Java functional programming concepts, microservices, and event-driven systems.Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:Opportunities for professional growth and development.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.A comprehensive health insurance plan.A retirement savings plan with company match.Flexible working hours and remote work options.OthersPlease note that we are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
