Job Opportunity: Strategic Third-Party Risk ManagerAs a key member of the operational risk team, you will play a crucial role in directing and leading the development and implementation of the bank's third-party risk management framework. This involves ensuring proactive management of overall third-party risk requirements in alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices.Design and deploy a comprehensive third-party risk management framework for the bank, including outsourcing governance.Manage ongoing third-party risk assessments, incorporating integrated approaches to mitigate associated risks.Ensure risks related to third-party relationships are sufficiently identified, assessed, monitored, and controlled before and after contract execution.Enhance governance models to provide continuous monitoring and oversight of risks posed by third-parties.Regularly update third-party risk assessment frameworks to address new and existing regulatory guidelines and initiatives.Lead third-party risk segmentation and maintain up-to-date annual attestations from contract owners.Develop reports on third-party risks for business areas and senior management.Identify and escalate key items of concern related to new and existing third-parties, including potential concentration and fourth-party risk exposures.Collaborate with sourcing partners, operational risk teams, information security, compliance, and legal departments to identify and escalate third-party risks.Support the head of TPRM in addressing central bank observations and improving the operational risk profile.Monitor first-line business units' status of RCSA, ORE, KRI, issues & actions, and NPPA programs.Perform detailed analysis of outputs from operational risk management programs.Maintain ongoing monitoring of the bank's operational risk profile at a business unit level.Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and promote a culture of continuous improvement.Provide user support and manage the operational risk program design on the bank's risk management system.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective third-party risk management.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in third-party risk management.Undertake multi-dimensional risk assessments and derive conclusions based on operational risk data.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 3-5 years focused expertise in third-party risk oversight, vendor governance, risk management, and operational risk.Proven related financial services experience, risk, and regulatory-related experience is highly desired.Third-party vendor experience is preferred.Strong technical knowledge of third-party risk management principles.Excellent people management, internal consulting, and partnering skills.Ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes without direct authority.Balance competing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
