A Day In The Life
As a Designer at Agilitas, you will be responsible for understanding and executing the creative briefs and directions provided, taking concepts from initial design to final product independently. Your role involves a deep understanding of pattern making, surface treatments, and textiles used in both lifestyle and performance contexts. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create best-in-class products, bringing innovation and a disruptive mindset to the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the leadership teams to understand and execute design briefs.
- Independently take concepts from design to final product, ensuring high standards of quality and innovation.
- Utilize your expertise in design, trends, pattern making, surface treatments, trim developments and textiles to develop cutting-edge designs.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, responding creatively to challenges and opportunities.
- Demonstrate a sense of ownership and accountability for the product and process.
- Foster a respectful and professional team environment, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Create sketches, 2D drawings, and 3D to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Work with the factory on developing prototypes of designs to assess functionality, comfort, and overall design integrity.
- Communicate design concepts clearly through presentations, drawings, and prototypes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industry experience in apparel design.
- Ability to work with Adobe creative suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D and Procreate.
- Strong understanding of fits, garment construction, surface treatments, and lifestyle and performance textiles and trims.
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High level of creativity and innovation.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Professionalism and respectfulness in all interactions.
