Backend Software Engineer OpportunityThis role involves the design and implementation of scalable systems, ensuring smooth integrations and delivering reliable deployments.Key Responsibilities:Developing REST APIs in Core PHP or Laravel, writing modular backend logic and data flows, developing and documenting reusable backend functionalities.Managing Drupal backend, configuring custom WordPress functionality, plugins, backend logic, hooks.Building backend workflows using services like n8n (webhooks, schedulers), integrating external services, tools, or backend task automation, supporting embedding, retrieval, and search workflows where required.Managing deployments to Linux servers, Hostinger, cPanel, or AWS (EC2), maintaining Git workflows, code documentation, and deployment-ready practices, debugging CMS, backend, and server issues in production environments.Implementing best practices for backend security, environment handling, logging, and error tracking, ensuring uptime, performance, and monitoring for critical systems.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong understanding of CMS ecosystems and custom backend workflows.Familiarity with Python scripting for automation or backend support.Version control, SQL, API handling, deployments on Linux-based environments.Detail-oriented with a strong debugging mindset and ownership attitude.Performance Metrics:Backend uptime and performance.API response reliability.CMS backend configuration quality.Speed and accuracy of backend task completion.Deployment and environment stability.
