Job Overview

Gamut HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Head for Banquets and Conventions. This is a senior-level, full-time position based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event planning and management, preferably between 7 to 10 years.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Event planning (Mandatory skill)
  • Budgeting (Mandatory skill)
  • Vendor management (Mandatory skill)
  • Team management: Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Customer service: Strong customer service skills to manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
  • Logistics coordination: Expertise in managing logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and on-site operations.
  • Food and beverage management: In-depth knowledge of food and beverage planning to ensure high-quality service during events.
  • Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected issues efficiently and effectively.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning and execution of banquets and conventions, ensuring all events run smoothly.
  • Develop and manage budgets for events, keeping costs within allocated amounts.
  • Coordinate with vendors to secure necessary services and materials for events.
  • Lead and mentor a team of event staff, ensuring high performance and compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Manage logistical aspects of events, from setup to teardown, to ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervise food and beverage services, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot any potential problems on-site to maintain event quality and attendee satisfaction.
