Lead Automated Testing Specialist

Automated Test Engineering is a vital function in the development lifecycle, ensuring software products meet the highest quality standards. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate application functionality and performance.Execute automated test suites to ensure seamless user experience and robust software solutions.Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data to support software validation.Perform code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality test code.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.Provide detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall quality, analyzing results to inform future testing strategies.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on Cypress and JavaScript.Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Jest) is a plus.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs is a plus.
