Company Description
International Battery Company (IBC) is a lithium-ion product company specializing in designing, developing, and manufacturing prismatic form factor cells for the mobility and storage sectors. With a 50 MWh facility in Korea, IBC qualifies cells for performance and high-speed manufacturing, preparing for giga-expansion. The NMC-622 cell offers 40% higher energy density without compromising cycle life or safety. IBC plans to build its first non-captive gigafactory in India in Q4 2024 to meet growing demand.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Battery Pack Manufacturing Lead at the International Battery Company in Bengaluru. We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Manufacturing Lead to oversee the development and production of lithium-ion battery packs through collaboration with vendors and manufacturing partners. The successful candidate will manage relationships with external stakeholders, ensure timely and high-quality production, and coordinate end-to-end manufacturing processes, from design finalization to delivery.

Qualifications
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, vendor management, or supply chain roles, preferably in the battery or electronics industry.
Knowledge of lithium-ion battery pack design, manufacturing processes, including module assembly, BMS integration, and testing.
Establish strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of high-quality enclosures, BMS, Thermal products and other critical components.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate product specifications into manufacturable solutions.
Ensure all products meet international quality and safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC, ISO, AIS).
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
