Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior App Backend Developer with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in mobile application and backend development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating robust and scalable mobile applications, as well as the backend systems that power them. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain user-centric applications and secure backend solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


Mobile Application Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.
  • Build intuitive and engaging user interfaces, ensuring responsiveness and cross-device compatibility.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance app functionality.


Backend Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems to support mobile applications.
  • Build and optimize RESTful or GraphQL APIs for seamless client-server communication.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling mechanisms.


Database Management:

  • Design and manage database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Optimize database queries and ensure data consistency across SQL and/or NoSQL databases.


Testing and Debugging:

  • Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing for both apps and backend systems.
  • Identify and resolve issues to ensure the seamless functioning of applications and backend services.


Collaboration and Architecture:

  • Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend/frontend developers to align on project goals.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable and maintainable systems.


Optimization and Maintenance:

  • Optimize applications and backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies in mobile and backend development and integrate them into projects.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in mobile application and backend development.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Kotlin, Swift, or React Native for mobile, and Python, Node.js, or Java for backend.
  • Frameworks: Experience with Android SDK/iOS frameworks or cross-platform frameworks like Flutter/React Native, and backend frameworks like Express.js, Django, or Spring Boot.
  • APIs: Expertise in developing and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Databases: Proficiency in SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience deploying apps to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment.
  • Awareness of mobile and backend security best practices.
