Job Overview:

Job Summary:

Experienced Oracle DBA with a strong background in routine DBA tasks, including DR/HA setup, automation, documentation, shell scripting, and query optimization. Proficient in Oracle installation, monitoring, and maintenance, with hands-on expertise in Oracle RAC and Dataguard implementation and management. Skilled in migrating databases to newer Oracle versions (12 & 19) and enhancing SQL query efficiency through performance tuning. Adept in system performance tuning and Linux systems. Passionate about adopting and implementing cutting-edge technologies to optimize database environments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Expertise in routine DBA tasks, including DR/HA setup, automation, documentation, shell scripting, query optimization, and system performance tuning.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle DBA activities such as installation, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Skilled in implementing and managing Oracle RAC and Dataguard.
- Extensive experience in database migrations to newer versions like Oracle 12 and 19.
- Proven ability in performance tuning to enhance SQL query efficiency.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems.
- Eager to explore and adopt new technologies and products.

Good to have skills: (Preferable)

- Understanding/exposure to cloud environments like AWS/Oracle Cloud
- Implementation and maintenance of Oracle Goldengate

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3 to 12 years of professional experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments

Timing: 9.45 am to 6.00 pm "Open to working in rotational shifts" (Monday to Friday)

Job Type: Full-time
