Role MS SQL Database Administrator

Desired Competencies

Must-Have

  • experience in Cloud Database Administration
  • Proficient in PostgreSQL/MySQL database management, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on PostgreSQL/MySQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of database design, implementation, and management for both PostgreSQL/MySQL environments.
  • Familiarity with database security, backup procedures, and performance tuning for both systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PostgreSQL Certified Professional, MySQL Database Administrator) are a plus.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1

Install, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL environment, implement monitoring and alerting, implement backup and recovery processes

provide system and SQL performance tuning and assist in business process integration with various data sources

Fulfills user requests ranging from access control, backup, restore, refresh to non-production to performance tuning.



Minimum Qualification:

15 years of full-time education
