Job Title: CDI Manager/ Assistant ManagerWe are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Manager/Assistant Manager.The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in clinical coding, leadership, and stakeholder engagement. They should have a strong understanding of DRG assignment and optimization, as well as proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and principal diagnosis selection.Responsibilities:Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI): Ensure accurate and consistent documentation of patient information in electronic health records.Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement: Provide coaching and mentoring to clinical staff on best practices for documenting patient care.DRG Assignment and Optimization: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize DRG assignments and ensure maximum reimbursement.Coding and Query Writing: Develop and implement coding policies and procedures, and create effective query letters to improve data quality.Clinical Knowledge and Expertise: Stay up-to-date on clinical indicators, sepsis, pneumonia, CHF, respiratory failure, and other critical conditions.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: In Health Sciences or related field.Clinical Coding Experience: 12+ years of experience in CDI or related clinical coding, including 4+ years in management.CDI Certification or Credential: CCDS, CDIP, or AHIMA/AAPC equivalent credential is a strong plus.Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to engage stakeholders, coach, and change management skills.Benefits:Opportunity to work with a dynamic team: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to drive clinical excellence and improvement.Professional Growth and Development: Opportunities for training, mentorship, and career advancement.Competitive Salary and Benefits Package: A comprehensive compensation package that includes salary, benefits, and perks.Additional Information:We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
