Position Title: Hardware & Firmware Development InternLocation: CoimbatoreDuration: Internship (3–6 months, extendable based on performance)About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and curious Hardware & Firmware Development Intern to join our team. You will gain hands-on experience in designing, testing, and debugging both electronic hardware and embedded firmware for our industrial automation and IoT products.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design and testing of electronic circuits, including sensor interfaces, power supplies, and communication modules.Support firmware development in C/C++ for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, AVR, ESP32, etc.).Work on interfacing protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, Modbus, and RS-485.Help in PCB prototyping, soldering, and basic hardware troubleshooting.Participate in unit testing, debugging, and documentation of embedded systems.Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate hardware and firmware for real-world applications.Desired Skills & KnowledgeStrong understanding of basic electronics and embedded systems.Familiarity with any microcontrollers.Basic knowledge of C programming and good logical skills.Hands-on experience with lab equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply) is a plus.Exposure to IoT platforms (ThingsBoard, AWS IoT, MQTT) is an advantage.Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.EligibilityCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields.Internship suited for freshers or 3rd / final-year students looking to build careers in embedded systems and electronics product development.What We OfferReal-world project exposure in industrial automation and IoT.Mentorship from experienced hardware and firmware engineers.Opportunity to contribute to innovative product development.Possibility of full-time placement based on performance.Job Type: InternshipContract length: 12 monthsPay: ₹8, ₹15,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Sundarapuram, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Application Question(s):Which excites you more — writing firmware or working with hardware circuits?
