Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned payroll expert to oversee the entire multi-state payroll processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Manage payroll for salaried and hourly employees across multiple states.Respond promptly and professionally to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Collaborate with HR Service Delivery teams on employee data updates related to compensation, benefits, and employment status changes.Prepare, reconcile, and submit payroll tax filings (941, state/local) and lead year-end processes including W-2 and 1095-C coordination.Reconcile payroll general ledger entries; support month-end close, financial reporting, and internal/external audits.Maintain and audit HR and payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance with EEO, FMLA, COBRA, and other employment regulations.Document and maintain payroll procedures to comply with internal controls and audit standards.Key qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field, as well as five (5) or more years of payroll experience with a focus on payroll administration and benefits coordination.Required skills and qualifications:Payroll Administration: Proficient in managing payroll processing, tax compliance, and benefit administration.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to respond effectively to payroll inquiries.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.Benefits of this role include:Opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a collaborative environment.Chance to develop and grow your career in payroll management.Competitive salary and benefits package.Other benefits of this role include:Opportunity to contribute to a company's growth and success.Professional development opportunities through training and mentorship.
