Key Challenges and Responsibilities:We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support our Data Platform function by enabling feature teams with secure, scalable, and reusable AWS infrastructure.The ideal candidate will provide cloud engineering support to data feature teams for design, provisioning, and operations.This involves building and maintaining reusable Terraform modules and CloudFormation templates. The successful engineer will provision AWS infrastructure spanning networking, security, compute, serverless, and data services.Detailed Requirements:Cloud Engineering Support: Provide expert-level cloud engineering support to data feature teams for design, provisioning, and operations of secure, scalable, and reusable AWS infrastructure.Terraform Modules and CloudFormation Templates: Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and CloudFormation templates to streamline infrastructure deployment and reduce complexity.AWS Infrastructure Provisioning: Provision AWS infrastructure including networking, security, compute, serverless, and data services to meet the needs of data feature teams.Preferred Qualifications:Proven experience in cloud engineering with a focus on AWS.Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and reliability.Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation.Familiarity with AWS services including networking, security, compute, serverless, and data services.Bonus Points:Certifications in cloud engineering or related fields.Experience working in Agile development environments.Please note that these qualifications are not exhaustive and we encourage applications from qualified candidates who may not fit every criterion but have relevant skills and experience.
