We are looking for an enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our team and learn the fundamentals of SEO from experienced professionals.
Role OverviewAs an SEO Intern at BrandStory, you will be introduced to the principles of search engine optimization and trained to implement effective SEO strategies. Under the guidance of our SEO experts, you will gain hands-on experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, content strategy, and analytics. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or freshers who are eager to launch their careers in digital marketing.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct keyword research to identify target keywords for SEO campaigns.Assist in on-page optimization, including meta tags, headers, image alt tags, and content updates.Support the team in executing link-building activities.Analyze competitor websites and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with the content team to optimize blog posts, website pages, and other content.Monitor and report on website traffic and search engine rankings using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and others.Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Key Skills and QualitiesBasic understanding of SEO principles and online marketing concepts.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new SEO tools and techniques.Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or other SEO tools is a plus.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.Freshers and recent graduates are welcome to apply; previous internship experience in digital marketing is a plus.
