We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Engineer to help us deliver comfortable, low-carbon homes that meet and exceed Future Home Standards.About the RoleWe are looking for someone with expertise in designing ultra-efficient heating and domestic hot water systems. You will work closely with our AI-driven platform to optimize system performance and minimize environmental impact.You will be responsible for collaborating with software engineers to refine our simulation engine, ensuring it accurately models mechanical systems and provides actionable insights.Your projects will range from bespoke single-home renovations to large-scale developments, requiring you to adapt your skills and knowledge to various contexts.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign high-performance mechanical systems that meet or exceed Future Home Standards.Optimize and simulate system performance using our AI-driven platform and industry-leading software tools.Collaborate with architects, developers, and contractors to bridge design and construction, ensuring seamless project delivery.Advise on sustainability strategies and provide guidance on system commissioning and installation.RequirementsA minimum B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.No less than 5 years of experience in mechanical services design for residential or mixed-use developments.Proficiency in thermal modeling, load calculations, and relevant software tools such as IES VE, TAS, EnergyPlus, Revit, and AutoCAD.Detailed knowledge of heating and domestic hot water systems, including heat pumps, low-temperature networks, thermal storage, and advanced control strategies.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously within multidisciplinary teams.About UsWe value innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to sustainability.
