Procurement Spend Analyst RoleThis position involves analyzing procurement spend data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Cleanse supplier and transaction data using SQL / Excel-based tools to ensure accurate insights.Classify spend into predefined taxonomies (Direct / Indirect; L1/L2/L3 levels).Maintain high-quality supplier records across multiple entities.Validate AI/ML-driven classification model outputs and correct misclassified data.Generate category roll-ups and dashboards for ongoing reporting cycles.Perform quality assurance on recurring spend refresh cycles.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Commerce, or Economics.2–4 years of experience in spend analytics, procurement analytics, or data operations.Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL (must be able to write joins, groupings, filters).Familiarity with data cleansing, normalization, and classification concepts.Knowledge of category taxonomies and data visualization tools.Desirable SkillsExperience working with large datasets and BI tools.Understanding of procurement or finance data concepts.
