Manager - Costing and Finance

Purpose of Position:  a.    To be expertise over costing and costing process and providing product costing/process costing. b.    To Lead in implementation of standard costing and lay out required process for follow up on implementations c.    To Handle inventory management including inventory valuation, Excess and Obsolete inventory and  other inventory control measures. d.    To Partner with Factory Leadership team to achieve  Factory KPI relating to Labor productivity, Cost of Poor Quality, OTD, PPM e.    To Assist Finance Controller in Statutory audit, tax audit, SOX compliances. Key Responsibilities: a.    Responsible for driving Plant P&L at gross profit level driving the various parameters of Material cost, Labor , direct OH and fixed OH impacting the same. b.    Having close monitoring of product costing, comparison with standard cost, analyzing variances, to feed management with continuous inputs to drive  the forecasted product margin. c.    Responsible for achieving Inventory turn at factory, Liquidate the E&O inventory and strengthen the purchase process to control no new items are added to E&O. d.    To Track the CAPEX spend with the budgeted CAPEX allocated on a monthly basis, To evaluate the ROI and enable Management to decide on the CAPEX proposals. e.    To facilitate various business decisions on Make or buy, Alternate vendor source and impact of net landed cost.f.    Working out product costing and new products as and when launched. g.    Ensuring Internal controls are adhered to with SOX compliance, Handling internal audit, group audits.  Total Experience in years:  4 years to 8 years Graduation/ Degree: Qualified CA/CMAMandatory Certifications Required: Certified CA/CWAOther preferred courses/ certifications: a.    Experience in SAP or any other ERP preferably with SAP implementation experience b.    Experience in implementing standard costing process in a manufacturing environment•    Background and Skills:  The ideal candidate will have. o    Domain (Preferred Industry) – Manufacturing Industry o    Experience in a Manufacturing industry preferabliy in a MNC and should have handled finalization of books,       statutory audits independently. o    Should have hands on experience in handling standard costing, working capital management. o    Candidate should have excellent command over MS-office, and strong communication skills o    Candidate having exposure to GST and customs Laws would be a added advantage.  WHO IS GILBARCO VEEDER-ROOTGilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, is the worldwide technology leader for retail and commercial fueling operations, offering the broadest range of integrated solutions from the forecourt to the convenience store and head office.
