Overview

We are currently recruiting a Freelance Project Manager/ Project Coordinator. This position is within our Engineering, Architectural and Project Management department and is based on remote office hours (100%).  

We are looking for an experienced project manager/ project coordinator who will work with our design team to monitor and maintain the project scope, timeline, budgeted hours, and quality of each deliverable; maintain project reports and documentation and reconcile the project data against its associated SOW; act as a bridge between our Production Team (Design & Consulting) and our Accounts Team (Sales) to ensure end-to-end delivery of our projects; support the growth of our project management discipline and operations for our business lines. 


Key Responsibilities:

Structural CAD Technician:

·               Day-to-day resource management by working directly with the Design, Marketing & Accounts Teams to understand resource availability and plan workload in real-time. 

·               Attending project-related meetings with the client to discuss progress and all critical matters.  

·               Preparation of Monthly Progress Reports for the client. 

·               Developing Project Schedules and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.  

·               Coordinating with the design leads to managing delivery, feedback, quality control, and the revision process. 

·               Reviewing all comments received and making sure that all comments are addressed to satisfy client’s requirements. 

·               Make suggestions and understand when to flag requested revisions that may interfere with the quality of the deliverable or exceed scope. 

·               Identification of all risks and preparation of Risk registers.  

·               Responsible for effective communication between Design, Marketing and Account Leads to strategically plan and execute projects for existing and new clients. 

·               Contribute new ideas, best practices, and ways of working to support the growth of our lines of business and streamline operations across the agency. 


Skills and Qualifications

·               Demonstrate solid knowledge of engineering and architectural principles and fundamentals.  

·               Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).  

·               Excellent communication and negotiation skills.  

·               Ability to deliver engaging presentations.  

·               Appetite to learn and a willingness to jump in for on-the-job training.  

·               Successfully completed a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Architectural. 

·               Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) with the ability to interact with various levels in the organization, including multi-discipline engineering teams.  

·               Ability to work under pressure and achieve maximum efficiency.  

·               Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.  

·               Ability to effectively solve problems and take decisive action within the limits of authority.  

·               High attention to detail is a must, with the ability to correct errors and flag inconsistencies with ease. 


Job Requirements

  • Applicant to have own system with minimum intel i5 processor or equivalent machine.
  • All project work to be assigned using Microsoft teams.
  • Applicant to be available all time (except Canadian statutory holidays) as per assigned working hours.
  • Work week will be from Monday to Friday.
  • Work hours to be 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (IST- GMT+5:30) Indian Time.
  • Applicant to adhere to work hours for smooth collaboration.
