Job Title: System Integration Testing (SIT) Engineer – Cisco DNAC / Nexus Experience: 5–6 Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time / ContractAbout the RoleWe are seeking a System Integration Testing (SIT) Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco’s DNAC or Nexus platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the seamless integration of network components and software applications across large-scale or data center environments. This role demands strong expertise in network automation, L2–L7 protocols, and software-defined networking (SDN) principles.Key ResponsibilitiesTesting Strategy & AutomationDevelop and execute detailed test plans covering functional, performance, and interoperability testing for Cisco DNAC and Nexus-based solutions.Design and implement network automation workflows using tools such as Python, Ansible, and REST APIs to streamline testing and orchestration.Integrate testing activities within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for continuous validation of new features and updates.Network Testing & TroubleshootingBuild, configure, and maintain complex network testbeds including Cisco Nexus 9000/7000 series, fabric networks, and DNAC servers.Validate key DNAC capabilities such as automated provisioning, policy enforcement, and network assurance.Conduct in-depth analysis of network behavior and troubleshoot integration or performance issues.Qualifications5–6 years of experience in network testing, integration, or automation.Strong knowledge of Cisco DNAC, Nexus platforms, and network protocols (L2–L7).Proficiency in Python scripting, Ansible automation, and RESTful APIs.Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) is a plus.
