In line with our exciting growth and expansion plans, our firm is looking to recruit 2nd Mates / Chief Mates who are seeking to build a rewarding career ashore in P&I claims, maritime law, marine insurance, demurrage and commercial shipping.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Claims Assistant. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling and managing marine claims, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. The role is located in-office at Mumbai and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maritime industry.

Qualifications

- Seafaring experience as a 2nd Mate / Chief Mate, preferably on dry bulk carriers.
- Experience in claims handling or related field is not necessary
- Legal knowledge or qualification is a plus but not necessary
- Analytical Skills, Good communication and time Management
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of maritime industry regulations and practices
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm and keenness to acquire and apply knowledge
- Team player who is keen to take on new challenges in a firm with exciting growth and expansion plans.
