This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3 years of prior work experience in a similar role. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care to our patients.Qualifications and SkillsProven ability to process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulations.Skilled in medication dispensing (Mandatory skill), ensuring patients receive the correct medication in the right dosage.Experience in inventory management (Mandatory skill) to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals, addressing inquiries and concerns.Proficiency in using pharmacy software for managing patient records, prescriptions, and other relevant data.Ability to conduct patient counseling, providing information on medication usage, potential side effects, and health tips.Knowledgeable in drug utilization review to ensure prescriptions are appropriate, medically necessary, and cost-effective.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.Roles and ResponsibilitiesProcess and accurately fulfill prescriptions while adhering to the hospital's guidelines and regulations.Dispense medications to patients, ensuring correct dosage and instructions for safe consumption.Maintain and manage inventory levels of pharmaceutical supplies to avoid discrepancies.Provide personalized patient counseling on medication regimens, usage, and potential side effects.Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to assist in selecting the proper drugs and improving patient outcomes.Review medication orders for clarity and accuracy, resolving any issues with the prescribing doctor.Engage in continued professional development to stay current with medical and pharmaceutical advancements.Conduct drug utilization reviews to promote the safe and effective use of medication.
