Roles & responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

• Estimating project budgets, scheduling timelines for projects, planning and allocating resources, including workforce, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets.

• Working with different cross functional teams to solve technical problems and improve battery and product manufacturability.

• Developing materials, processes etc. which can improve and ensure manufacturing of battery with performance, reliability and safety.

• Creating and maintaining technical documents like process flow diagrams, Kaizen sheets, etc.

• Proactively troubleshoot and solve problems to ensure targets and deadlines are met while focusing on team development.

•Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and process FMEA to identify failures and improve process yield.

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that batteries meet standards and specifications.

• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment in all processes and operations in the manufacturing facility.

• Stay updated and skill-up other team members on industry regulations and standards related to battery production and testing (e.g., UL, IEC, ISO).

• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with engineers, technicians, procurement, and quality control, to optimize production processes.

• Maintenance of the manufacturing machines and solving the issues in case of any breakdown.

• Analyse production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for improved efficiency.

• Implement and monitor quality control measures to identify and rectify defects or deviations from production standards.

• Continuously evaluate production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production environment.

• Utilize MRP systems to plan and track production orders.

What we look for:

• Graduate from Premier institute (IIT/NIT) from Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical

• With 3+ years of experience

Required skills:

• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors and management

• Team handling and development

• Analytical, computer, math and problem-solving skills to be able to use and explain software

• Organizational skills and time management skills to keep projects on track to the finish

• Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully
