Accounting RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team.The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and posting journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and Local GAAP, as well as supporting the month-end and year-end closing process.They will also reconcile Balance sheet and P&L accounts on a regular basis and investigate discrepancies.In addition, they will assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and supporting schedules.The selected candidate will maintain proper documentation for all journal entries and account reconciliations, and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.They will also collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary support and documentation.Ultimately, the successful candidate will stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and regulations under both US GAAP and Local GAAP, and support cross-functional teams and management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.Key Responsibilities:Preparing and posting journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and Local GAAP.Supporting the month-end and year-end closing process.Reconciling Balance sheet and P&L accounts on a regular basis and investigating discrepancies.Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and supporting schedules.Maintaining proper documentation for all journal entries and account reconciliations.Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.Collaborating with external auditors during audits and providing necessary support and documentation.Staying up to date with changes in accounting standards and regulations under both US GAAP and Local GAAP.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.CPA certification preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
