Job SummaryThe Government Pre-Sales Head will lead business development and client engagement initiatives across government and public sector organizations in India. The successful candidate will drive growth by identifying new opportunities and developing strategic partnerships.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the government and public sector vertical.Manage RFP lifecycles, including tender identification, proposal preparation, and bid submission.Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling proposals that meet client needs and exceed expectations.Build and maintain relationships with key government departments, public sector undertakings, and policy bodies.Participate in government tenders and bidding processes, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.Oversee bid defense presentations and contract finalization.Align company objectives with driving revenue and market share growth in the government vertical.Requirements:12–17 years of experience in technology sales with strong exposure to government and public sector.Proven expertise in end-to-end RFP management, government tendering, and bid preparation.Strong understanding of government procurement norms and tendering guidelines.Prior experience working with large IT services or Digital Transformations projects in Government Sector.Strong understanding of Digital Transformation, Cloud, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions.Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
