Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager with expertise in Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance and financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate GST filings, optimizing tax strategies, and maintaining compliance with GST laws. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of GST regulations and financial management principles.


Key Responsibilities:


GST Compliance:

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.).

• Monitor and manage GST payment processes, including input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation.

• Stay updated on the latest GST amendments, circulars, and notifications, ensuring the business remains compliant.

• Liaise with tax authorities for assessments, audits, or inquiries related to GST.

Tax Planning & Advisory:

• Advise the organization on tax-saving opportunities and GST optimization strategies.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks related to GST compliance.

• Conduct GST impact assessments for business transactions, contracts, and projects.


Financial Operations & Reporting:

• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closures, ensuring proper accounting of GST transactions.

• Collaborate with the finance team to manage the overall tax accounting and reporting processes.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on GST-related matters.


Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead and mentor the finance team in understanding and managing GST requirements.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, legal) to ensure smooth GST compliance in various operations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and government authorities.


Qualifications & Skills:


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or CMA preferred).

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in GST compliance, taxation, and financial management.

• Strong knowledge of the Goods and Services Tax Act and related laws.

• Proficiency in financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle) and GST-related tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience in managing audits and assessments with tax authorities.
