Job OverviewAs a highly skilled Technical Operations Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and leading a team of technical professionals in a fast-paced production environment.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of 10+ technical operations engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.Critical Situation Handling: Guide the team in handling critical situations and high-severity incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve L2/L3 technical issues, ensuring prompt resolution and system uptime.Customer Escalation Handling: Handle customer escalations and coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely resolution.Issue Escalation: Escalate critical issues through appropriate hierarchical channels.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and infrastructure to ensure seamless service delivery.RequirementsFor this role, we are looking for a candidate with:Technical Expertise: 8–12 years of experience in technical operations or system administration, with strong Linux administration skills (command-line, scripting, troubleshooting).Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams, with excellent communication and coordination skills.Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (beyond basic level) and hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.).Incident Management: Experience in incident management and root cause analysis, with familiarity with ITIL processes and escalation management.Production Deployment: Experience in production deployment and release management, with working knowledge of Hadoop and distributed systems.Automation and Scripting: Basic knowledge of Docker and Ansible, with automation/scripting experience (Shell, Python, Ansible) as an advantage.Preferred QualificationsWe also prefer candidates with:Certifications: Certifications in Linux (RHCE, LFCS), Networking (CCNA), or ITIL.Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
