We are looking for a skilled Techno-Commercial Officer who can bridge the gap between technical requirements and commercial execution. This role involves understanding client needs, aligning them with our technical offerings, and managing the end-to-end commercial process—from quoting to invoicing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks, and adept at ensuring smooth order processing and financial accuracy.
- Technical Assessment & Quoting:
- Analyze client technical requirements and match them with existing product/service offerings.
- Use internal price lists to generate accurate and competitive quotes.
- Draft comprehensive Statements of Work (SOW) outlining project deliverables, timelines, and costs.
- Order Management:
- Create and manage items of work in the internal system, ensuring accurate project details and documentation.
- Process orders promptly upon client confirmation, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Financial Administration:
- Manage invoicing for completed projects and services, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Track outstanding payments and work with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of quotes, SOWs, orders, and invoices for audit and reporting purposes.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
- Provide feedback on pricing strategies, product offerings, and process improvements.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures for techno-commercial activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a techno-commercial role, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of technical product specifications and pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in using CRM and ERP systems for order processing and invoicing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cloud services, software solutions, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling client requirements.
