Job overview:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager with 8-16 years of experience to join our team and spearhead the sales efforts for our line of refurbished electronics targeting universities, colleges, schools, and small to medium businesses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships, and driving revenue growth for education and SME segments
Responsibilities:
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential customers within the education sector (colleges, schools) and small to medium businesses.
Business Growth Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and business plans to penetrate the target market and achieve sales goals.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Building: Proactively identify and approach key decision-makers in educational institutions and businesses to present our refurbished electronics. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to create targeted marketing campaigns and promotional activities that resonate with the target audience and drive sales.
Product Knowledge and Training: Stay updated with product knowledge, industry trends, and
competitor activities. Provide necessary product training to clients and internal teams as required.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis of sales performance.
Utilize data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve sales effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Education sales experience
- Candidates must have C2C experience in Education sales
- Education B2B sales( where available) was limited to schools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record in B2B sales and business development, preferably in the electronics or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of the education sector and small to medium business operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and result-oriented.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office suite
