Job Overview:We are seeking a Financial Analyst with strong accounting knowledge and a solid understanding of financial analysis, preferably with some experience in property or real estate sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, collaborating with teams across various functions, and providing insights into financial variances.Key Responsibilities include:Monthly Management Accounts Preparation: Prepare and review the monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet for multiple properties, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the financial statements, in line with company accounting policies and procedures.Business Partnering & Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with Finance Managers in the UK and Operations teams to ensure the accuracy of monthly management accounts, analyze financial results and variances, providing detailed explanations and addressing queries to enhance business understanding, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.VAT Returns: Prepare and review VAT returns for the properties in compliance with local tax regulations.Property-Focused Financial Analysis: Support the financial management of a portfolio of properties, including a new fund with four properties and a Spanish property, work closely with local teams to ensure that all financial and operational aspects are accurately reflected in the financial accounts.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in property or real estate accounting.Intermediate Spanish proficiency (reading and writing) is essential, especially for the Spanish property.Strong understanding of accounting principles, P&L, Balance Sheets, and VAT returns.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Benefits and Others:Working with an experienced team to deliver high-quality financial reports and gain valuable industry insight.
