JOB DESCRIPTION


Roles and responsibilities:


  • Lead Internal Audit, Third Party Risk Management, Export Control Compliance, and Risk Management teams.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in both ITAR (US) and CGP (Canada) defence projects. Knows the rules and regulations
  • Plan and manage enterprise risk assessments to identify risk universe, prioritize identified risks, and make risk mitigation investment recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Manage global business continuity efforts and support tabletop exercises.
  • Deliver Code of Conduct document and enterprise-wide training.
  • -Participate in a global cross-functional working group to identify compliance opportunities and best practices across the organization and form strategic partnerships.
  • Assist Compliance Counsel in developing enterprise-wide customized training, global policies, and due diligence processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate compliance communications and draft relevant messaging for the operating company.


Export Control Responsibilities:


  • Partner with all Operating Companies to develop processes that meet clients export requirements.
  • Present program development and status reports to senior leadership.
  • Perform contract compliance review and audits to identify export control and other government requirements.
  • Review contract language for export control requirements and advised operating companies on any actionable export requirement.
