Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and execute operational objectives and work plans.Delegate tasks to subordinates, develop and modify policies and procedures, and serve as a first point of escalation for issues or activities.Manage and oversee the activities of Partner Advocates with a focus on business plan and corporate goals.Collaborate with internal departments to deliver solutions to Advisor/Partner questions and needs.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in any stream with 8-10 years of experience. Knowledge of retirement plan recordkeeping is preferred.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook email, Adobe, Chrome/Internet Explorer.AASPA certification on the retirement domain is preferred.Strong analytical ability in solving business and technical problems.About the RoleThe Manager Partner Advocate will take a leadership role in mentoring and training new hires, managing specialized project initiatives, and covering team member territories.This position is responsible for establishing operational objectives and work plans, delegating tasks to subordinates, developing and modifying policies and procedures, serving as a first point of escalation for issues or activities, managing and overseeing the activities of Partner Advocates, collaborating with internal departments, and providing relationship management expertise to assigned plans within the territory.This position also involves assisting the director with special projects, training and development, process improvement, and issue escalation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical ability in solving business and technical problems, AASPA certification on the retirement domain, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Benefits and RequirementsDemonstrated ability to solve complex service issues and collaborate with leadership on solutions.Creative problem-solving skills are required for Advisors/Partners, plan sponsors, and internal staff.Staffing - assesses staffing needs, conducts prospective employee interviews, and makes decisions regarding the hiring of new employees.Conducts performance evaluations and manages staff issues according to company policies.Additional ResponsibilitiesProvides ongoing feedback regarding quality of work to team members and works to improve processes and overall quality for the team/department.Ensures team performance meets and exceeds function/department goals, quality targets, and service level expectations.Maintains individual reconciler statistics to ensure they are within established guidelines.
