Consultant PediatricianAbout the OpportunityA leading provider in the Healthcare – Pediatrics sector, this on-site role supports comprehensive child health services across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. You will join a high-quality clinical team focused on evidence-based care, preventive paediatrics, and building trusted relationships with families across India.Role & ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality clinical care for newborns, infants, children and adolescents across outpatient clinics and inpatient wards; manage day-to-day case load independently.Lead pediatric emergency stabilization and acute care: assess, triage and manage critically ill children and coordinate timely escalation to NICU/PICU when required.Perform and supervise neonatal resuscitation and ventilatory support; initiate and oversee evidence-based treatment plans for common and complex paediatric conditions.Oversee preventive care programmes including immunisation, growth monitoring, developmental screening, and anticipatory guidance for caregivers.Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, nutrition, physiotherapy, social work) to optimise patient outcomes.Contribute to clinical governance: protocol development, morbidity and mortality reviews, audits, teaching and mentoring of junior doctors and trainees.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveMBBS with MD/DNB/DCH in Pediatrics or equivalent postgraduate qualification.Valid medical registration in India and current practising licence.Certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS).Proven clinical experience managing inpatient and outpatient paediatric care including emergency stabilisation.PreferredExperience in NICU/PICU settings or managing neonatal care.Training or hands-on experience with point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in pediatrics and ventilator management.Exposure to electronic medical records and participation in immunisation programmes or public health paediatrics.Benefits & Culture HighlightsCompetitive compensation package with performance-linked incentives.Supportive multidisciplinary team, structured mentoring and opportunities for clinical teaching.Continuous professional development including CME support and access to specialist networks.This role is ideal for a patient-focused, clinically confident pediatrician who thrives in fast-paced clinical environments and is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based child healthcare.
