Pharma Database Specialist

Job Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry and be proficient in SQL, data modeling, ETL tools, and relational database systems. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.About the Role:We require a highly motivated individual who can develop, maintain, and optimize SQL-based solutions to support clinical, regulatory, and commercial data initiatives across global teams. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams across different geographies in CET hours.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and reports.Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and other developers to understand data requirements.Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with pharma data standards.Troubleshoot and resolve SQL performance and data issues.Requirements:3+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry experience is mandatory.Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent).Experience with data modeling, ETL tools, and relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).Good understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance (GxP, FDA, EMA).Benefits:Long-term contract with a leading global pharmaceutical company.100% remote work setup.Collaborative, international work environment.
