Project Associate / DAM Librarian

ROLE PURPOSE:

Provide guidance and collaborative best practices across brands on how to manage their content in the DAM, advocating for content excellence model established. DAM Librarians Ensure the high-resolution editable source file for all materials are uploaded and tagged properly for future re-use. Oversee the overall Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure all the operations are in line with defined process.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities and key activities include but are not limited to:

  • Upload and organize digital assets, including images, videos, and multimedia files, within the DAM system.
  • Implement a standardized taxonomy and folder structure for easy navigation.
  • Assign and update metadata for digital assets to enhance searchability and categorization.
  • Ensure consistency in metadata across all digital assets.
  • Manage user permissions and access levels within the DAM system.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure data security and integrity.
  • Integrate DAM workflows with other systems and tools used across the organization as needed.
  • Collaborate with content creators (Omni/GBS/Marketers) to streamline the upload and retrieval process.
  • Provide training sessions for users on how to use the DAM system efficiently.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshoot any issues related to DAM usage.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with copyright laws and licensing agreements.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices for digital asset management.

EDUCATION:

Any Bachelor’s degree.


EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of project management, and/or operational experience


SKILLS:

Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office suite of tools.
  • Ability to support a high volume of projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across various parts of the organization.
  • Attention to detail.

Knowledge

  • Experience supporting a complex process.
  • Proven success in operating in a matrixed or team environment.
  • Experience working in the biopharmaceutical industry.
