The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test-driven development (TDD) and a deep understanding of best coding practices. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs and applications while contributing to continuous improvements in our development processes.Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails applications and their APIs.- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices (RSpec, Minitest, etc.).- Apply TDD (Test-Driven Development) principles to ensure code reliability and quality.- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.- Perform code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.- Debug production issues and provide timely fixes.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.- Lead or mentor junior developers — experience in leading a team is a plus.Requirements- Minimum 2 years of hands-on coding experience with Ruby on Rails.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.- Self-taught developers are also welcome.- Strong understanding of software design patterns, RESTful API design, and version control systems (e.G., Git).- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
