 Sphera's vision is to create a safer, more sustainable and productive world by providing enterprise software and services that enable companies to manage and optimize their environmental, health, safety and sustainability.  Our mission is to empower organizations to make a positive impact on the planet.Job SummaryThe Senior Application Security Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management and third-party groups to ensure Sphera products are secure and meet industry standards.Key Responsibilities​Participate in application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and dynamic testing to identify vulnerabilities.Own and perform application security vulnerability management to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.Facilitate the preparation of security releases and support product and development teams in application security.Assist in creating security training programs and develop automated security testing to validate secure coding best practices.Support dynamic and static vulnerability scanning tools and open source software scanning tools.RequirementsFamiliarity with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws.Basic development or scripting experience and skills.Experience with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools.A basic understanding of network and web-related protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS).Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.Experience identifying security issues through code review.QualificationsBachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, or a related field.7-10 years of experience.Excellent analytical skills, ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines and work well in a demanding environment.
