Job Description SummaryRole will be responsible for delivering Turnkey transmission projects. Will work for project delivery, Engineering solution definition, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities, support in business development through customer connect and defining and presenting GE's offerings. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesWork as Senior interface on Large, complex multi-year ACS, HVDC & FACTs projects for the APAC region. Main areas of responsibility will be working with Product Engineering team, Central Technology team, Project execution team & Customer to drive solutions implementation which can be acceptable ensuring optimizations. Will have to demonstrate direct leadership and/or management of project deliverables.Work with business leader for implementation of location solution in time bound manner.Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketUses judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.Drive business development within the market, identifying opportunities for growth. Identifies market demands in terms of technology requirements and advancements, feeding back to business.Support teams on customer negotiations. Identifies new opportunities with functional partners to develop new products and services for business growth.Required QualificationsThis role requires good experience in the Large Turnkey ACS projects, involving complex scope and single project value > $25m or HVDC & FACTs technology Projects. Should have Bachelor's / Master's degree in Power Electronics/ Electrical Engineering from reputed college and B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from Top college/university with exemplary academic records.Should have 12-15 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).Desired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to manage programs / projects.
