Senior SolarWinds Automation EngineerThe role of Senior SolarWinds Automation Engineer is to lead and manage the automation process of our SolarWinds platform. This position requires a strong understanding of the SolarWinds Orion suite and expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting, and PowerShell Development.Key Responsibilities:Administer and maintain the SolarWinds Orion platform.Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating SolarWinds tasks.Implement custom monitoring logic, automated diagnostics, and integrations via Orion API, SWIS, and REST endpoints.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand automation needs.Build tools and utilities to support monitoring self-service, reporting automation, and configuration validation.Manage custom Pollers, SNMP configurations, and agentless/agent-based monitoring across multi-vendor environments.Design and optimize SWQL and SQL queries to support reports and custom dashboards for tailored views.Configure and maintain alert logic, escalation policies, and notification integrations.Participate in incident triage and root cause analysis.Contribute to and maintain Kanban board tasks and documentation related to SolarWinds projects and issues.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong understanding of the SolarWinds Orion suite.Expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting, and PowerShell Development.Ability to develop and maintain complex software solutions.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading and managing automation teams and implementing complex automation solutions.
