Our online faculty members offer a high-quality academic experience and closely support their students in the achievement of their educational goals. Online faculty work collaboratively with the academic team in a supportive environment to ensure that students have the resources and tools necessary to be successful in their programs.General Roles and Responsibilities:Seek out and connect with your students, academic advisors, and faculty supervisors frequently to ensure the success of your students. Interact closely by offering an increasingly innovative presence in your class groups.Offer substantive feedback and grade papers and submissions expeditiously.Engage your students proactively to promote their academic growth.Serve as a leader and professional role model in connecting your experience and professional background to the content of the course.Proactively participate in weekly discussion forums in order to create visibility and presence.Minimum professional qualifications:Ph.D. in Art HistoryTeaching experience of a minimum of 10+ years at an accredited universityPublishing and research experienceDesirable professional qualifications:Online teaching and facilitation skillsDesirable Professional Concentrations:Art HistoryMuseologyCultural StudiesHumanitiesThis announcement is for future academic terms. Successful candidates must complete the necessary training to be a member of the AVENU Learning online community of faculty. The training lasts for 3 weeks and participants are paid upon successful completion of the training.Compensation: AVENU Learning online faculty receive competitive compensation on a commissioned work scheme. Payment is made at the end of the undergraduate or graduate school term, 8 or 10 weeks, respectively.A background check is required at no cost to candidates.Documentation:Individuals interested in this opportunity must submit a copy of their resume or curriculum vitae (CV), as well as notarized and scanned copies of their mark sheets and diploma and the link to their three best articles or books (publications).
