Job Overview: We’re looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team and take the lead in managing, transforming, and optimizing data workflows using cutting-edge technologies like Azure Data Factory , Databricks , and SQL .
Azure Data Engineer
Location : Bengaluru
Working mode : 5 days (WFO)
Experience: 6+ Years
Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development
- Plan, implement, and maintain data pipelines for seamless data ingestion and transformation.
- Work with Azure Data Factory to create and manage robust ETL workflows .
Database Management
- Design and optimize SQL queries , functions, stored procedures, and views for data processing and analytics.
- Troubleshoot and improve database operations for efficient data retrieval.
Data Integration & Modelling
- Collaborate with analysts, DBAs, and business teams to design effective data workflows.
- Implement data modeling , data warehouse architectures , and SCD Type 2 designs.
Documentation & Frameworks
- Maintain documentation for data models, database schemas, and SQL code.
- Leverage metadata-driven ETL frameworks for managing data ingestion and transformations.
Tools & Technologies
✅ Azure Data Factory
✅ Databricks , ADLS , Spark-SQL
✅ SQL & NoSQL databases
✅ Python for scripting and data operations
✅ Data Modeling & Data Integration expertise
✅ Exposure to Microsoft Fabric is a plus
