Senior Data Engineer Role OverviewAt our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team.This role is critical in the development and enhancement of our dimensional data models, supporting key financial reporting and analytics across the business.The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand complex financial concepts and translate them into scalable, performant data models.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop dimensional data models to support financial reporting and broader analytics.Build and maintain robust data pipelines using SQL, Python, and dbt.Work with Microsoft Fabric OneLake and related technologies.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial concepts and translate them into technical solutions.Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across the warehouse.Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for data warehousing.Requirements and Qualifications:Proven experience in data warehousing and dimensional modeling, ideally within financial services.Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI.Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and/or Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent analytics technologies.Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex problems.Strong understanding of financial concepts and how they translate into data models.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Benefits of this Role:This role offers the opportunity to work on complex data projects, develop new skills, and contribute to the growth of our data and analytics team.We value your contribution and provide a collaborative and dynamic work environment that fosters innovation and learning.What We Offer:A competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.
