World's leading commercial real estate company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer, with 7+ years of experience, to lead the engineering efforts for a new quantitative research team by building data pipelines, developing ML/AI solutions, and supporting data science models that aid investment decisions in commercial real estate.. The ideal candidate would be an expert in building data pipelines using Python, Microsoft Azure and SnowFlake. The candidate should have basic proficiency in statistics and data science and can contribute to research projects as needed. The position could be based out of Hyderabad or Mumbai, India.
Role Description
- Responsible for extracting, transforming, storing, and serving data to support data science models that drive investment decision-making in commercial real estate portfolios.
- You will also use your expertise in cloud computing, software engineering, and MLOps to help quantitative researchers deploy models and analytics
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust data pipelines using Snowflake and Azure technologies.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement machine learning models and algorithms using Python, H2O, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow.
- Optimize and maintain data engineering processes to ensure high-performance and reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and be willing to learn and incorporate new tools and techniques into the existing data engineering infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data initiatives and deliver high-quality data solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake, Azure, and Python for data engineering tasks.
- Strong experience in building and optimizing data pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages
- Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position will be up to 40 LPA with 15% bonus, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
