Technical LeadWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Ingenium Developer to join our team.Expertise in Mainframe O/S and Development using COBOL programming language & JCL is required.Development and setting up Universal Life product using Ingenium 6.x or above version is crucial.Customization to Ingenium in Mainframes, Windows and AIX Operating systems, with a preference for Ingenium 7.X exposure, is essential.Proficiency in Scripting using REXX is necessary.DB2 and PL/SQL experience is required.A strong background in Agile / Kanban work methodologies is essential.Experience working with GIT Bitbucket, Docker, etc. is desirable.In-depth knowledge of Canadian Life Insurance products is required.The Ingenium Senior Developer will collaborate with other Legacy IT professionals to participate in the design and delivery of New sales and Policy Servicing functionality on Ingenium 7.7 platform, across various product categories.Software development, unit testing and support for systems and integration testing is crucial.Leveraging proven technical competency to ensure effective delivery of custom solution on Ingenium Platform is essential.Additional Skills:Legacy Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of legacy Ingenium 5.4 platform for code conversion, code reviews, coding and testing activities.Backlog Grooming: Collaborate with scrum masters to groom user stories and estimations.Technical Architecture, Analysis and Design: Work with architecture group to understand firm-wide code standards and guidelines, facilitate peer reviews.Behavioral Skills:Minimum 10 years of (technical) experience in Ingenium 6.5 version and above is required.Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with sprint stakeholders, scrum masters, partners and customers are necessary.Strong analytical skills to determine and document technical specifications are required.Depth of knowledge on products from multiple lines of business; experience with Ingenium policy administration system is preferred.Proven ability to learn and handle multiple priorities in a challenging work environment is essential.
