Job OverviewThis role involves serving as a legal specialist to consult for clients in the legal and regulatory space. The legal specialist will be responsible for supporting standardization activities across multiple siloed legal processes in various countries, focusing on the primary sources workflow.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business analysts and legal experts to analyze individual countries' primary source workflows, data, and files.Work with business analysts to create consolidated and standardized processes and data based on individual countries' processes, highlighting instances where local countries cannot conform to standards.Produce deliverables for standardized processes (with support from business analysts), including process documentation (as-is and to-be design) and spreadsheets containing standardized data elements for various processes.Understand the status of standardization efforts across all active countries and report this information to program leadership.Attend regular Program Board meetings and serve as the legal expert representative.Attend Operational Committee meetings and act as the legal expert representative.Participate in meetings between business analysts and clients to provide guidance and context.Required SkillsExpertise in primary sources of law, particularly within the European region.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong presentation skills, including creating and delivering presentations.Bilingualism is preferred (EU languages, German, Dutch), while English is required.Experience in legal business process consulting is essential.Self-motivation and proactive communication are also necessary.
