With heavy investment in the latest trading technology, Axi seeks to offer the most comprehensive end-to-end trading experience available, servicing traders of all levels from beginners to institutional-level clients.  Position Overview:We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in C++ or Go / Golang and building ulta low-latency trading applictions to join our Global engineering team. You will play a key role in designing and building scalable backend services and APIs for our trading and financial applications. This is a hands-on development role.What You'll Do:Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance, ultra low-latency backend systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Front-end, DevOps, QA, and ProductParticipate in system architecture design and contribute to best practicesWrite clean, maintainable, and testable codeTroubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issuesKey Requirements:5+ years of experienceProven ability to quantify past achievements around latency improvementsProficiency in network programming (TCP/IP, UDP) and low-level systems programmingKnowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and synchronization primitives, and lock-free data structuresExperience with Modern C++ or Go / Golang standards, debugging tools, and financial market protocolsStrong professional experience with either C++ or Go / Golang in a production environmentSolid understanding of object-oriented programming, concurrency, and design patternsExperience building RESTful APIs and Backend servicesFamiliarity with Agile development practices and CI/CD workflowsExcellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownershipGood to Have:Experience working in trading systems, brokers, exchanges, or financial platformsExposure to Kafka or other event-driven architecturesExperience with low-latency or performance-critical systemsExperience with Java / Spring BootKnowledge of web technologies and building full-stack applicationsFamiliarity with AWS cloud services and Terraform for infrastructure-as-codeExperience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDBUnderstanding of distributed systems and microservices architectureAxi's Bag of Delights Competitive compensation Training, development resources, and certification opportunities 18 annual leave days + 12 sick days Local public holidays Health insurance benefits Interview Process Talent Acquisition Screen (30 mins) Technical Skills Assessment (take-home assignment) Technical Interview with Team (60 mins) Hiring Manager Interview (30 mins)
