Bridge Assessment and Design EngineerYou will be responsible for undertaking assessments of existing bridges and preparing reports. This will include assessing the structural integrity of bridges, identifying potential weaknesses and recommending remedial actions.Your key responsibilities will include:Carrying out feasibility studies to determine the best approach for strengthening and repairing bridgesPreparing new bridge design and strengthening designs to meet UK standardsConducting design and assessment checks to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulationsPreparing or assisting in compiling drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondenceEnsuring that all work is carried out in accordance with established QA and document control proceduresRequired Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in bridge design and assessment.
