Job Description: Learning & Development (L&D) Manager Reports To: Global Head of HR Location: Bengaluru, KA- India Employment Type: Permanent Role Overview: The Global Learning & Development (L&D) Lead will drive the organization’s capability-building agenda across geographies. This role will design and deliver scalable learning strategies, leadership programs within the technical domain, and behavioral capability initiatives to strengthen performance and prepare future leaders. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning, skilled at designing engaging development experiences, and adept at aligning global learning initiatives with business goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Learning Strategy & Capability Building Develop and implement a global L&D strategy aligned with business priorities and talent needs. Identify critical capability gaps and create targeted development interventions. Build a learning culture that promotes continuous skill enhancement and career growth. 2. Leadership Development Design and deliver leadership programs for emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders. Partner with business and HR teams to identify high-potential talent and craft development journeys. Integrate coaching, mentoring, and experiential learning into leadership pathways. 3. Technical & Domain Learning Partner with business units and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop technical and domain-specific learning programs. Curate and manage global learning content through digital platforms and external partnerships. Evaluate and measure program effectiveness using learning analytics and business impact metrics. 4. Behavioral & Soft Skills Development Facilitate behavioral learning sessions that strengthen collaboration, communication, and managerial effectiveness. Implement competency-based learning frameworks to reinforce organizational values and behaviors. 5. Learning Operations & Governance Oversee end-to-end program management, including scheduling, vendor management, and learner engagement. Leverage technology (LMS, digital learning tools, AI-driven solutions) to scale global delivery. Track and report learning impact metrics to leadership and key stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in HR, OD, Psychology, or related field preferred. 10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Development roles. Proven experience designing and implementing global leadership programs. Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Experience with digital learning platforms and analytics tools. Exposure to both technical and behavioral learning domains is preferred.
