Job OverviewThis role involves testing data pipelines, APIs, and master data management systems using Informatica tools like IDMC/IICS CDI and MDM SaaS.Data Pipeline Testing: Test ETL pipelines across cloud/on-prem environments, validate source-to-target mappings, complex data transformations, and slow changing dimension logic.API Testing: Use Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI to test REST/SOAP APIs, validate request/response payloads, authentication flows, error handling, and negative scenarios.Master Data Management Testing: Test match/merge rules, survivorship, trust settings, workflows, and golden record creation, validate MDM SaaS configurations, data cleansing, and data quality rules.The ideal candidate will work closely with integration teams to test upstream/downstream interfaces, provide quality assurance sign-offs, and ensure the quality of deliverables.Key ResponsibilitiesETL Pipeline Testing: Perform end-to-end testing of ETL pipelines, validating source-to-target mappings, complex data transformations, and slow changing dimension logic.API Testing: Use Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI to test REST/SOAP APIs, validating request/response payloads, authentication flows, error handling, and negative scenarios.MDM Testing: Test match/merge rules, survivorship, trust settings, workflows, and golden record creation, validating MDM SaaS configurations, data cleansing, and data quality rules.Required SkillsStrong Background in ETL Testing: Experience in testing ETL pipelines, including source-to-target mappings, complex data transformations, and slow changing dimension logic.API Testing Experience: Proficiency in using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI to test REST/SOAP APIs, validating request/response payloads, authentication flows, error handling, and negative scenarios.SQL Skills for Data Validation: Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation, including data analysis and problem-solving.
